Risk Description
The vehicles can contain crankshaft main bearings that have not been properly cleared of machining debris during manufacturing. This contamination can cause the bearings to fail. This can lead to engine knocking, rough running, inability to start, or stalling. If the engine stalls while driving, the sudden loss of power increases the risk of accidents and injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
