Travel charger for NK-6101 was recalled on 11 July 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0755/08. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the convertor does not comply with the requirements on distance between primary and secondary windings and reinforced insulation;- part of the cover of the mains plug does not pass the ball test by 12,50 C; - the product does not comply with the requirement on reinforced insulation between output connector (circuit SELV) and the mains plug.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the convertor does not comply with the requirements on distance between primary and secondary windings and reinforced insulation;- part of the cover of the mains plug does not pass the ball test by 12,50 C; - the product does not comply with the requirement on reinforced insulation between output connector (circuit SELV) and the mains plug. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60950. .
