Travel charger
Travel charger was recalled on 8 August 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 0850/08. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- construction of converter does not comply with the requirements for safe isolation of primary winding from secondary one;- length of conductors enables bypassing of double insulation in case of connector release which may result in occurrence of mains voltage on exit connector;- parameters of mains plugs do not comply with the standard;- there is no possibility to set up output name-plate parameters;- the product does not pass the voltage test even on basic insulation between output connector and mains plugs.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- construction of converter does not comply with the requirements for safe isolation of primary winding from secondary one;- length of conductors enables bypassing of double insulation in case of connector release which may result in occurrence of mains voltage on exit connector;- parameters of mains plugs do not comply with the standard;- there is no possibility to set up output name-plate parameters;- the product does not pass the voltage test even on basic insulation between output connector and mains plugs.
