Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries because there is a possibility that the blades can crack. If a piece of the blade breaks off completely it could, in extreme cases, be thrown out and cause cuts to the lower limbs of the user. Throughout the EU three accidents were reported in 2009 and two in 2010. Broken pieces caused cuts and lacerations to the lower limbs.The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 836.
