Decorative candle was recalled on 12 November 2010 under EU Safety Gate alert 1681/10. Choking risk reported by Slovakia. The product poses a risk of choking because it may be easily confused by consumers, especially by children, with foodstuffs by its form, colour, appearance and size and in consequence could be placed in mouth, sucked or ingested, causing danger for their health or safety.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of choking because it may be easily confused by consumers, especially by children, with foodstuffs by its form, colour, appearance and size and in consequence could be placed in mouth, sucked or ingested, causing danger for their health or safety. The products do not comply with the Directive 87/357/EEC on products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers.

Product Description
Candle in a shape of dark violet grape, the size of the candle 15 x 7.5 cm, the size of one berry 1.5 x 1 cm. The berries are easily detachable. Equipped with a cardboard label with marking BEPPE Decor.
