Risk Description
The product poses a risk of choking because, the form and appearance of the product is such that it is likely that children will confuse it with a foodstuff and consequently either place the product in the mouth, suck or ingest it, which could cause choking. The product does not comply with the Directive 87/357/EEC on products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers.

Product Description
Food imitating product presented as candies in the shape of small red apples with gold coloured leaves, covered with grains of sugar-imitating plastic (approx. dimensions: diameter 3.3 cm, height 3.8 cm). The product is made from spongy, synthetic material and is packed in a transparent box containing 6 pieces (approx. dimensions: 11 cm x 7.5 cm x 4 cm) with gold coloured ribbon. The “candies” cannot be bought separately. The packaging contains no indications or warnings.

Recommended action
