Risk Description
No perforation has been made in the outer covering of the instrument panel to enable the deployment of the passenger airbag. In the event of an accident involving deployment of the airbag at low temperatures, sharp edges could be created on the instrument panel in the airbag's deployment area, damaging the airbag. Moreover, parts of the instrument panel may become detached, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants.
