Manufacturing errors in the production of steering components may result in components having reduced fatigue strength or being susceptible to breakage. If one of the components breaks, the steering may fail, creating a risk of accidents. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
