The braking system may have been contaminated with mineral oil. This can lead to the swelling of rubber components in the braking system (hydraulic seals, brake hoses, etc.) causing the braking system to lack hydraulic pressure. This can result in longer brake pedal travel and reduced braking performance, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries.
