Switching mode power supply
Switching mode power supply was recalled on 10 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1100/08. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The products pose a risk of electric shock because : - the construction of the converter does not comply with the requirements on distance between primary and secondary windings for reinforced insulation, - the condensers in primary circuits do not comply, - the length of the conductors enables by-passing of double insulation in case of connector release and the possibility of the presence of mains voltage on the exit connector,- the requirements on reinforced insulation between the output connector and mains plug for double insulation are not met.
