Risk Description
The plastic in the cable contains up to 1,9% by weight short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).Furthermore, certain solders on PCB contain lead (measured value up to 45.0%).The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment (RoHS 2).
