The products pose a risk of fire and burns as the recalled lithium-ion battery packs can overheat and rupture.

Product Description

Lithium-ion rechargeable battery packs sold with various models of HP and Compaq notebook computers from July 2007 to July 2008. The recall is an expansion of a 14 May 2009 battery recall previously expanded on 19 May 2010.
