Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the material used for different parts of the plastic doll contains 26.3% by weight of di(2 ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). In addition, the various parts of the product contain up to 0.6% by weight of dibutyl phthalate (DBP). According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
