Lighting chain was recalled on 17 October 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1176/08. Electric shock risk reported by Hungary. The product poses a risk of electric shock because : - there is only basic insulation on the soldered connections of the light sources, - the cross-section area of the core is less than the requirement, - cord anchorage is missing in the flashing unit.

Risk Description

Lighting chain including 180 miniature, non-replaceable, incandescent lamps with a resistor bridge and an 8-function flashing unit. The flashing unit controls four parallel circuits.
