Risk Description
The dimensions of the battery charger are such that the user may touch the live pins when plugging the battery charger into a mains socket. The basic insulated wires touch the accessible sharp metal part of the base of the lamp: in case of damage to the insulation, the live metal conductors would become accessible. The internal wires are too thin and, in case of a short-circuit, they could overheat.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
