Risk Description
The polyamide webbing of the elasticated webbing branches could be partially destroyed by the mechanical action of deposited dirt particles and be weakened as a result. Under normal conditions of use (without falling), the webbing stretches, then retracts back to shape. It is thought that this could provoke the above-mentioned mechanical action, which is not immediately obvious to the user. In the event of a fall, this could lead to serious injury or death. One fatal accident reported. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.
