Risk Description
The properties of the rope brake can vary with age and wear of the rope. A stiffer rope in the rope brake with a worn surface causes an increase in the impact force. In combination with a weakening of the elasticated webbing branches as a result of use, this may lead to the product failing in the event of a fall causing the user to fall from a height to the ground.The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment directive.
