Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the top part of the ring contains 15.17% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate DEHP and 0.103% by weight of DINP, the bottom part 15.42 % by weight of DEHP and 0.315% by weight of di-'isonyl' phthalate DINP.According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
Product Description
Inflatable swim ring (80 cm) made from yellow PVC, packed in a transparent plastic bag containing a paper label with a picture of 4 swim rings (yellow, blue, green, violet) and marked "Swim Ring paowang". The valve is marked "LP-C01".
