Risk Description

Certain cells of the traction batteries may be missing an anode. This could result in a short circuit and lead to a thermal runaway of the battery, causing it to emit toxic smoke without flame. The product does not meet the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
