Risk Description

The internal welds in the main cell diverters (connection between the individual cells and cell modules) of the high-voltage battery may not meet the specifications and could break, interrupting the electrical contact within the battery.This would result in the immediate failure of the whole battery, increasing the risk of an accident.Furthermore, electric arching may occur in the damaged battery, increasing the risk of fire.
