Risk Description

Due to inadequate resistance of conductors the product may overheat and cause fire or burns. Overheating may damage the insulation and leave access to live parts. The user may touch them and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60228.

Recommended action

Burns: Stop using the product immediately. If you have suffered burns, cool the area with running water and seek medical attention. Do not attempt to repair the product. Electric shock: Unplug the product immediately and do not use it. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact the manufacturer or retailer for a recall remedy. Fire: Disconnect the product from any power source and stop using it immediately. Do not leave it unattended. Store it away from flammable materials. Contact the retailer for a refund.

Who is at risk?

All users. Children and elderly people are particularly vulnerable to burn injuries. Anyone using the product, especially in wet environments such as bathrooms or kitchens. All household members. Fire risks are especially dangerous for sleeping areas and children's rooms.
