Electrical adaptor
Electrical adaptor was recalled on 5 December 2008 under EU Safety Gate alert 1388/08. Electric shock risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - it is possible to insert one pin of the plug into the socket-outlet of the adaptor while the other pin is freely accessible, - the dimensions of the base of the adaptor are different from those given in the standard for a 10A 250V two-pin device with earth contact, - it is possible to insert a rigid steel wire of 1 mm diameter into the compartments at the base via the seals when no plug is inserted.
