Risk Description

The necklace does not open and can therefore wind around the neck of the child, leading to strangulation. Furthermore, the necklace can easily break, resulting in small parts (the beads). A small child may put them in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the General Product Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-1.

Necklace consisting of beads threaded on a brown cord with a plastic screw clasp intended for children under three years. Product sold online, in particular via eBay (Article number 223544161944).
