Risk Description

The product presents a serious risk of injuries as it is supplied with an attachable canopy. In windy conditions, the canopy could cause the product to lift from the water. The child could fall from the product and be injured by impact or by drowning in the water. The product does not comply with the General Product Safety Regulation.

About this risk

Drowning: This product does not provide adequate stability or safety features for use in or around water, creating a drowning risk. Injuries: This product has a design or manufacturing defect that can cause physical injuries such as cuts, bruises, fractures, or other bodily harm during normal use.

Recommended action

Drowning: Do not use this product in or near water. Never leave children unattended near water, even with flotation devices. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

Who is at risk?

Children are at extreme risk. Drowning can occur in as little as 2 cm of water. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury.
