Das Produkt stellt ein chemisches Risiko dar, da der Kunststoffkopf 12 Gewichtsprozent Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) und 0,32 Gewichtsprozent Di-„isononyl“-Phthalat (DINP) enthält. Die Kunststoffhände enthalten 13 Gewichtsprozent Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) und 0,29 GHT Di-isononylphthalat (DINP). Gemäß der REACH-Verordnung sind Phthalate DEHP, DBP und BBP in allen Spielzeugen und Kinderbetreuungsartikeln verboten, während Phthalate DINP, DIDP und DNOP in Spielzeug oder Kinderbetreuungsartikeln verboten sind, die von Kindern in den Mund gelegt werden können.
