Das Produkt birgt ein chemisches Risiko, da es 27, 4 Gew.-% Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) im Kopf der Puppe enthält; 0, 79 GHT Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) im Bein und 0,91 GHT Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP) im Arm der Puppe. Darüber hinaus enthält das Produkt folgende Phthalate: 0,07 Gewichtsprozent Dibutylphthalat (DBP) im Kopf der Puppe und 4, 8 Gewichtsprozent Di-‚isononyl‘phthalat (DINP) im Bein und 5‚7 Gew.-% Di-‚isononyl‘phthalat (DINP) im Arm der Puppe. Gemäß der REACH-Verordnung sind Phthalate DEHP, DBP und BBP in allen Spielzeugen und Kinderbetreuungsartikeln verboten, während Phthalate DINP, DIDP und DNOP verboten sind, wenn das Spielzeug oder Kinderbetreuungsartikel von Kindern in den Mund gelegt werden kann.
