Risk Description
The various instruments can break easily and release small parts. A child may put small plastic parts into the mouth and choke on them. Additionally, there are sharp edges at the toy's surface which may cause cuts. Furthermore, one of the instruments (toy drum) has a long cord that should be placed around the neck; this cord can become trapped during various activities of a child, leading to strangulation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the European standard EN 71-1.

Cuts: This product has sharp edges, pointed parts, or fragile components that can break and cause cuts or lacerations. Strangulation: This product contains cords, strings, loops, or other elements that can wrap around a child's neck and cause strangulation.
Recommended action
Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Cuts: Stop using the product. Inspect it for sharp edges or broken parts. If someone is cut, clean and bandage the wound. Seek medical attention for deep cuts. Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.
Who is at risk?
Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, especially young children who may not recognise sharp edges. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
