Risk Description
The toy contains bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 14.61% by weight) and di-butyl phthalate (DBP) (measured value: 0.15 % by weight). These phthalates may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system.It contains also di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured value: 2.18% by weight).According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP and DBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles and the phthalate DINP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
