Risk Description
Motor oil may leak from the brake vacuum pump into the vacuum hose and from there onto the brake booster. In isolated cases, the motor oil could damage the membrane and affect the power assist braking. This would mean drivers having to depress the brake pedal harder in order to slow down or stop the vehicle. This could lead to a traffic accident.
