Risk Description

The strap attached to the drum has no quick release mechanism. If worn around the neck, it could form a loop and become trapped, leading to strangulation. The sound pressure level is too high (measured value up to: 130 dB). This could lead to partial loss of hearing, when the product is used. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Recommended action

Strangulation: Remove the product from the child's environment immediately. Cut any cords or strings if they cannot be safely removed. Never leave children unsupervised with products that have loose cords.

Who is at risk?

Children are especially vulnerable as their hearing is more sensitive than adults. Infants and young children are at the highest risk of strangulation from cords, strings, and loops.
