Wooden playpen was recalled on 24 February 2012 under EU Safety Gate alert 0312/12. Injuries risk reported by Poland. The playpen poses a risk of injuries due to the lack of a bottom element which thus enables a child to move together with the playpen.

Risk Description
The playpen poses a risk of injuries due to the lack of a bottom element which thus enables a child to move together with the playpen. This could lead to the risk of the child falling downstairs or receiving burns if he/she approaches hot surfaces around the house. In addition, the movable junction (hex cap screws) of the wooden construction poses a risk of entrapment between the elements of the playpen.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 12227.
