Risk Description

The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 0.64 mg/kg dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the sachets.Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.

Product Description

Ladies' pumps, black, heel 5 cm, decorated with a bow at the toe; black inner lining and insole; entire heel covered with plastic material similar to upper; black plastic sole approximately 3 mm thick. Packaging: cardboard box containing two sachets with 'dessicant' – 1 with blue and 1 with black writing; blue writing: "Desiccant, Biochemical Dry, Do Not Eat" (contains colourless crystalline powder); black writing: "Desiccant Silica Gel, Throw Away, Do Not Eat" (contains colourless transparent beads, diameter 2-4 mm).
