Wireless remote socket was recalled on 29 June 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0595/07. Fire risk reported by Germany. The product poses a serious risk of fire because during the load test:- the socket caught fire and the socket pins heated to over 200 K;- the radiation measurement did not comply with the requirement of the relevant standard.

The product poses a serious risk of fire because during the load test:- the socket caught fire and the socket pins heated to over 200 K;- the radiation measurement did not comply with the requirement of the relevant standard.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive, with the Directive 1999/5/EC on radio equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment and with the relevant European standard EN 300220.
