Risk Description
The affected adapters do not feature any safety shutters, therefore allowing access to live parts.Moreover, the 3-pin plug does not meet the dimensional requirements and may not make a secure connection with the mains socket as the plug pins are positioned too close to the edge of the adapter. This increases the risk of accidental contact during insertion or removal.Additionally, the adapters do not include any fuse which is required to ensure safe operation under fault conditions. In the event of an electrical surge or fault, the plug may overheat and ignite, causing a fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
