Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because the black leather of the credit card slots contains azodye (amine benzidine) with a concentration of 145 mg/kg (HPLC/DAD) and 168 mg/kg (LC/MS).According to the REACH Regulation, azodyes which may release aromatic amines in a concentration above 30 mg/kg shall not be used in textile and leather articles which may come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
