Wall socket was recalled on 3 February 2023 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/00203/23. Electric shock, Fire risk reported by Romania. The contact terminals can oxidize over time creating an imperfect contact and increase the resistance in the circuit.

Risk Description
The contact terminals can oxidize over time creating an imperfect contact and increase the resistance in the circuit. This will result in a heat release or the creation of an electric arc, both of which can cause fire, and users may receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60884-1.
