These substances bio-accumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. Moreover, the product has an excessive quantity of perfluorooctanoic-acid-related compounds (PFOAs) (measured value: 46 mg/kg). PFOAs are carcinogenic and pose a risk to the environment. The product does not comply with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation, the REACH Regulation nor the General Product Safety Regulation.
