Ventrac 3200 was recalled on 4 July 2014 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/1030/14. Injuries risk reported by Denmark. Due to the minimal gap between the front and back part of the machine, there is a risk that persons (operator and passengers) get their limbs crushed when the machine is turning.

Risk Description

Due to the minimal gap between the front and back part of the machine, there is a risk that persons (operator and passengers) get their limbs crushed when the machine is turning.There is a risk of amputation of fingers at the belt drive, which is not protected by means of guards or other protective devices.If the machine is used on steep slopes or uneven terrain, the machine can roll or tip over. If the machine rolls or tips over, there is a serious risk that the operator is getting crushed by the machine. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
