Vehicle lift was recalled on 15 April 2016 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0428/16. Injuries risk reported by Denmark. The automatic mechanical locking system for the carrying arms has elongated holes and there is consequently a risk that it can disengage.

Risk Description

The automatic mechanical locking system for the carrying arms has elongated holes and there is consequently a risk that it can disengage. The locking of the system is dependent on a thorough adjustment and tightening which will foreseeably not be done during normal use. If the carrying arms move from the supporting position during use the vehicle can fall and crush the user.One fatal accident reported.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 1493.
