Vacuum cleaner was recalled on 19 January 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0052/07. Fire risk reported by Spain. The notified product poses a serious risk of fire because:- during the ball test at 125 ºC, the black plastic part incorporated into the cable winder was not resistant to heat and deformed, with the risk that live parts would become loose;- during the glow-wire test at 750 ºC, the black plastic part incorporated into the cable winder produced a flame, with the risk of fire.

Risk Description
