Risk Description

The gel beads can be put into the mouth and swallowed by children.As the beads expand by more than 50%, it can cause fatal occlusion of the respiratory track or intestinal blockage. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Recommended action

Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury.
