Risk Description
The product has an excessive concentration of short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) in plastic (measured value up to 3.27% by weight).The product has also an excessive concentration of lead in solders and DEHP in plastic (measured values up to 79.5 % and 3.09 % by weight respectively).SCCPs poses a risk to human health and the environment. Lead poses a risk to the environment. DEHP poses a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation nor with the REACH Regulation nor with the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
