Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of 2.8 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear and 1.7 mg/kg in the mould-proof sachet. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to the REACH Regulation.
Product Description
Children’s blue sandals packed in a white and blue coloured cardboard box bearing the words “Magnus”. A label on the box indicates the number of article and size. There is also a mould-proof sachet with information “Desiccant. Silica gel. Throw away. Do not eat” in the box of sandals.
