Risk Description
The product poses a risk of injuries to children because:- The upper surface of the bunk bed is not equipped with safety barriers all around the bed;- The safety barriers in the upper bed are too low;- The opening for access to the upper bed is too wide;- The safety barriers as well as bed base elements are not sufficiently strong and may easily break.As a result, children may easily fall from the upper bed.In addition the gaps between adjacent support elements (bands and bars) are too wide which may cause injuries to fingers or hands. The product presents also accessible sharp edges which may injure children. Finally, there are no instructions and no safety warnings.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 747-2.
