Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of 0.2 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear and 0.7 mg/kg in the mould-proof sachet.Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing over 0.1 mg/kg dimethylfumarate are banned according to the REACH Regulation.
Product Description
Ladies sandals packed in a red-coloured cardboard box bearing the words “B.STAR” and the style number and size. There is also a mould-proof sachet with information “Desiccant. Silica gel. Throw away. Do not eat” in the box of shoes.
