Universal plug adaptor was recalled on 18 May 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0435/07. Electric shock risk reported by Germany. This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because :- live plug components can be touched when plug is partially inserted into adaptor;- it is possible to make a connection between one plug pin and a live adaptor component while the other plug pin can be touched.

Risk Description

This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because :- live plug components can be touched when plug is partially inserted into adaptor;- it is possible to make a connection between one plug pin and a live adaptor component while the other plug pin can be touched.
