Universal electrical adaptor was recalled on 21 August 2009 under EU Safety Gate alert 1125/09. Electric shock risk reported by Spain. The product poses a risk of electric shock because - the dimensions of the accessory differ from those required,- it is possible to insert a plug with a higher rating into the socket,- the live parts of the socket protected by a seal can be accessed without a plug being inserted,- the holes in the socket are not sufficiently elastic to ensure correct contact pressure.
