Risk Description

The ball joints installed in tie rods of Unimog 405 and Unimog 437 vehicles may not have fully undergone the prescribed hardening process. This can result in increased wear and reduced fatigue strength up, with a possible fatigue fracture. In the event of such a break, steering would no longer be possible and there would be a risk of accidents. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
