Risk Description
The migration of boron from the toy is too high (measured value: up to 1536 mg/kg). Ingestion or contact with an excessive quantity of boron may harm the health of children by damaging their reproductive system. In addition, the toy contains an excessive amount of cadmium (measured value: up to 0,80 mg/kg). Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones, and it may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive nor with the European standard EN 71-3.
