Risk Description
The maximum permitted level of benzene in consumer products is 0.1%.The product poses a carcinogenic risk to consumers because the rubber solution contains 33 % benzene and 22% toluene.Benzene is classified as carcinogenic category I R45, mutagenic category II R46 and toxic (R46/23/24/25). Toluene is classified as carcinogenic category III, harmful R20/48 and highly inflammable.The labelling of the product is incorrect and incomplete.
